2025 IOM Oceania Championship
The New Zealand Radio Yachting Association (NZRYA), in conjunction with the International One Metre International Class Association (IOMICA), is pleased to announce the inaugural International One Metre (IOM) Oceania Championship. The event will be hosted by Pegasus Radio Sailing Club at Lake Pegasus, Christchurch, New Zealand, from 29 September to 4 October 2025.
- First major IOM event in New Zealand since the 1997
- Four days of high-level championship racing plus a reserve day
- Hosted at one of New Zealand’s premier radio sailing venues
This marks the first major IOM event to be held in New Zealand since the 1997 IOM World Championship in Wellington. The Oceania Championship is set to become a regular international fixture on the IOM calendar, scheduled biennially during non-World Championship years and rotating among Oceania countries.
Get ready for four days of top-tier championship racing at one of New Zealand’s premier radio sailing venues, just 30 minutes north of Christchurch.
